2863 Chemistry Laboratory Requirements

1.      Before entering the laboratory, wear your lab coat and goggles. Remove your contact lens. Otherwise you are not allowed to enter the laboratory.

2.      Do not remove your glasses/goggles without permission. Otherwise 3 points will be deducted from your total score.

3.      Do not wear slippers or sandals to the laboratory. Tie up your long hair.

4.      Arrive at the laboratory on time or deduct 3 points; 30 minutes late, no experiment should be conducted. The score for that experiment is zero.

5.      Taking leave shall be follow the school regulations. Please inform 1 week in advance to the TA/Lecturer to arrange make-up class. 

      Offender will score zero for that experiment; sick leave may be requested afterwards.

6.      It is your responsibility to clean up your working area after the experiment. Otherwise 2 points will be deducted.

7.      The experiment shall be completed within the specified time. 
There will be no extension. Nonetheless, you may arrange make-up class before the end of the semester.

8.      Plagiarism of laboratory report is strictly prohibited. If found, zero score for that report.

9.      Report due time:

Next Wednesday 5 pm (To the locker mark SSE at 6F in front of the elevator)

In case of holiday, next day 5 pm.

10.  10 Points will be deducted for late submission of report without a reasonable reason.
